Select Fashion are looking for a logistics / import coordinator to work in our head office based in Kentish Town for immediate start.   

 

Main responsibilities will include:

Contacting agents based in the UK / overseas and arranging airfreight / sea freight for orders.

Preparation of letter of credits.

Liaising with other departments such as buying, merchandising, finance and ensuring that the orders are delivered on time and within budget.

Contacting different suppliers to get their offers, negotiate their prices and payment conditions.

Following up with the suppliers till the delivery of goods, getting the order confirmation, checking all the details mentioned and determine the delivery dates.

Monitoring delivery schedules and coordinating with other departments and arrange deliveries into the warehouse.

Respond to supplier queries and ensure timely execution.

Fulfill any other tasks as and when assigned by the line manager. 

 

Requirements:

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, able to take responsibility and work on own initiative without supervision, result oriented and demonstrate an attention to detail and accuracy.

We require fluency in both English and Turkish, experience in logistics or supply chain, and experience in preparation of Letter of Credits.

 

Salary: Depending on experience and to be agreed upon application.
